KIDNAP plot heiress Tamara Ecclestone has broken her silence about her nightmare ordeal and said: “It has always been my biggest fear.”
The daughter of F1 supremo Bernie, 82, was warned a Middle-Eastern gang were watching her and told him to hand over £200,000.
The 28-year-old model said: “Someone was telling me my life was in danger and I was being watched by people. I felt physically sick.”
Martin Peckham, 41, had called the racing tycoon’s office and tried to set up a meeting with Tamara’s now ex-lover Omar Khyami.
And days later she spotted a moped pursuing her. She said: “The driver pulled up alongside and stared straight at me. I will never forget it. He stared for three to four seconds. Then he sped off.”
She added: “It doesn’t matter if the threat is genuine or fake because the fear it generates is the same.”
Peckham was jailed for five years at Southwark Crown Court, London, earlier this month for the bogus kidnap threat.
